On this page you'll find my live improvisation sets, and occasionally a half-serious dj mix.

The live set consists of several pieces of hardware sequenced or clocked by Ableton Live. My goal in developing this was to have it be unique and different each time I play it, new even to me. One aspect are random generative sequencers that run themselves, another is the ML185 sequencer which is mapped to the Launch Control XL and runs the Microbrute (sequences made and changed live) and Triode, another is clips only labeled with the root note so I don't get to know which is which (in the past this has meant getting tired of it after using it to death). All the audio goes into the mixing console, recording happens with the Zoom H1. Main out fx via Kaoss Pad Quad. Various pedals on aux sends.

Most times it sounds pretty good.
