Cruz (Joris Ptrs) aka Joris Peeters is based near Antwerp, (B). He's been a session musician since 1989. During his stay on the island of Ibiza between 1998 and 2000, he started creating his own Deep House tracks. He collaborated, a.o. with Richenel (voc-NL) and Roque Martinez (sax-Cuba). Back in Belgium, more releases followed in the pop-genre (Paul Michiels, 'in a silent way') and he appeared on Paul Carrack's 'Old, New, Borrowed and Blue' album as a session drummer. Meanwhile Soulful House tracks kept on coming and releases followed on WAB, Soulheat, Musol, Mjuzieek, Klein aber Fein, Farplane (record label of Rasmus Faber), Myriad Black Records, Tribal Winds and Soulstice Music (Mark Di Meo). His music has been mixed by Richard Earnshaw, remixed by Scott Wozniak, Matt Early, Deeper People, Steve Haines and others.
