Jorge Saxon a.k.a. DJ George
one of the most talented Polish DJs - turntablists
in the 90's - member of the legendary Polish group New Da Wont (live funk/jazz/rap). Played and received prizes at various festivals - e.g. Prince Rock Poland Węgorzewo '96, Le Printemps De Bourges (France) '96 &'97 (alongside Mighty Bop a.k.a. Bob Sinclar, Dj Cam) or AREZZO WAVE (Italy) '97 (alongside Herbaliser, Vernon Reid [Living Coulour] i David Byrne [Talking - Heads]).
His unconventional playing style gained him recognition and resulted in numerous collaborations, e.g. with Ćmy, Buldog, Edyta Bartosiewicz, Kayah, Kasia Klich, Skinny Patrini, Marcin Wasilewski, Nie Wiem Kto, Liroy, Yaro, Galapagos Manufacture, Blenders.
DJ George is active on the Polish music scene - recording, playing gigs and DJ sets. He frequently performs at vernissages of extraordinary photographers, e.g. Karolina Breguła, Tomasz Niewiadomski, Wojtek Wieteska, Tomasza Sikora, Tom Hunter.
