Copenhagen, Denmark

Jordi Gendra began DJing in his hometown of Barcelona back in 1992, playing a key role in introducing dance jazz and related rhythms to the local scene. In 2008, he co-founded Tracy Recordings, which quickly became one of Spain’s most influential electronic music labels. He got residencies at both Nitsa and Razzmatazz in the Olympic City.

Now based in Copenhagen, Jordi may be a fresh face on the local scene, but he’s already made an impression with his solid and smooth, sophisticated DJ sets. Expect a rich mix of old and nu-school jazz-funk, '80s grooves, and boogie, showcased at venues like Mesteren & Lærningen, H15, Bird, Reffen, Funky Tuesdays and others.

Most recently, Jordi collaborated as a flute player on the latest album by Emil Friis, the acclaimed post-classical composer from Copenhagen.
