Jon Thureson alias Herman Prime is a founding member of Tampere based Plauge collective. He has been playing records, promoting and organising clubs and producing his own music since the turn of millennium. Doing different kinds of things is the most characteristic for him. Almost no genre or type of party or venue is unfamiliar, whether it's jazz at a wine bar or techno in an industrial fabric. He found his eclectic style in early age from breakdance mixtapes, where old school classics from house to funk, rock and disco were mixed together with more recent stuff. So it's a big mess basically, anything goes if it's good enough. Nowadays DJ's find their own signature style from some sub genre. Herman Prime's signature sound is the quality, like the way it used be.
