Influenced at an early age by artists such as 2Unlimited, MC Mario and the Real Mccoys, Jonny Yes never realized how deep his love for Electronic Music was until he was reunited at age 18 thanks to A State of Trance podcast by Armin Van Buuren. After attending his first event headlined by Armin, Jonny Yes had no doubt that Djing would be tied to his identity. Working on his technical skill, Jonny Yes soon found a place within Calgary's underground music scene honing in on the Tech House genre. Jonny Yes has had the pleasure to play regularly at one of Calgary's hottest house spots, Habitat. Jonny Yes will be the first to admit that genre is a rapidly declining priority and what started as Tech House has now become his own unique spread of Techno, Deep House, Nu Disco, Drum and Bass, Breaks, House, Funk, etc. Jonny prides himself on bringing this widespread of music together with high levels of energy, progression and most of all fun, so get ready to scream Yes all night long!
