Originating from Tasmania, jonny seymour first played records gifted by his older siblings and learned the foundations of the socialist ideals of communal support in music. This was expanded through spinning on community radio beginning in nipaluna in the1980s and continues broadcasting today. As DJ Seymour Butz they cofounded the legendary queer Club Kooky, Queerbourhood at The Bearded Tit, Trough Faggot Party in Naarm and is currently resident at Queer Dance on Gadigal Land. They produce music and also dj with Paul Mac as stereogamous remixing artists from Kylie to LCD Sound System. They have been fortunate play across the planet most recently collaborating with the Homopleasure collective in Taiwan.
