Jonnie Polyester is probably best known for his funky disco cut-ups and remixes on his Blackbooty Label. He has been involved in dance music for nearly 2 decades but his music career got going in earnest with his Disco Connection compilation series, which he put together whilst working for Distance Records; the French label that gave us K.O.T's - Finally. Released in Spring 1998, the series aimed to capture the exciting vibe of quality disco house, which brands such as Hed Kandi were to develop into such commercial success.
