I've been presenting on Blast1386 since around 2007. Back in 1968, following a stint with Reading band "The Mackandas", I founded the folk group Tudor Lodge, recording a self titled album for Vertigo in 1971 which is now highly collectable - I like to think that has something to do with the music. Tudor Lodge remains an important part of my life as we continue to perform and record. In 2013 I released my first blues based album as John Cee Stannard, then in 2014 followed that with an album that reflects our performance as Blue Horizon - foot-tapping acoustic blues. Also in 2014 I published my first novel - initially exclusively on Kindle. It's a fantasy adventure which is a kind of mix of Famous Five meets Harry Potter. The book is called "The GRiPPENHAM Tales - The Hidden Truth" and I started writing it some seven years previously; it is published under the name of John C. Stannard. 'Nuff said.
