My name is Johan Daalman, a Dutch DJ, born in Vlaardingen, better known by my stage name Johan D. At the age of 17 I started mixing vinyl records. I was inspired by soul, disco/jazz music and later by French composers Jean Micheal Jarre and Giorgio Moroder.

My DJ career in house music started in the early 90s as a radio jockey in Rotterdam. Shortly afterwards I became a resident DJ at Le Bateau in Rotterdam and played my sets in the clubs of The Hague and Scheveningen. In recent years, Johan D. has performed at Club NL in Amsterdam and hosts the Johan D. & Friends area at Crazyland in Zaandam and the 7th Heaven festival in Beesd, as well as weddings and private parties. Recently I also started performing at the Harbor Club in Amsterdam and Vinkeveen. Due to my extensive collection of music and my years of experience as a DJ, no genre is foreign to me.
