Joel Brink has been putting down roots in the Vancouver music and events scene since 2013, making a name for himself with his special attention to detail and talent for tailoring his vibes to the energy of the occasion.
Inspired by the five years he spent living in London, immersed in the energy of the European dance music scene and the influences of U.K. labels like Defected Records, the Ministry of Sound and Hedkandi, the Burlington, Ontario, native returned to Canada with the recipe for his signature sound.
A smooth, silky flow emphasizing energy and in-and-out layering, Joel’s style smacks of Deep and Vocal House, Dancehall and Basshall while also reflecting his love of 90s and 2000s R&B & Hip-Hop classics.
The former co-host of The House FM’s 72 Hours radio show, you may have heard Joel DJ parties on Thailand’s sublime Phi Phi Islands, opening for Paul Oakenfold in Whistler, B.C., and throwing down at weddings, parties, Super Bowl bashes and more across British Columbia
