American born Joel Brittain started DJing in 1993 at the age of 15. Cutting his teeth in the up and coming Florida scene during the 90s marks the beginning of his carrier as an electronic music artist. Previously a rock/ metal & fusion guitarist, Joel embraced a wider spectrum of electronic music including house, techno, D&B and ambient hip hop beats (back then, loosely known as Trip hop). Joel moved to London in his early 20s where he met and collaborated with similar artists. Co-founder of the brief but beautifully executed Nonsuch recordings in 2004 with Dan Thomason, Joel opened the doors to many opportunities leading to his first release "Me & My Big Grill" which was leaked to be a club stormer in 2006. Other official releases preceded the first on labels such as Reverberations, Wrong & Tango with remixes along side artists such as Rob Pearson, Demarkus Lewis, Asad Rizvi and others.
