20 years in and Joel Adams, aka Joel Transit, is still pioneering his own unique vision of electronic music. His focus has shifted from straight dnb to soulful house, garage, and detroit techno over the years and as a technician his skills are hard to ignore.
Starting in Washington, DC's rave scene in the mid-90's Joel also spent time on the decks in NY where he expanded his reach while getting valuable studio and production experience.
His sound is melodic and with a deep sense of composition, playing off of elements of familiarity with a carefully curated selection. Also check out his bass and techno mixes with DJ Eternal under the name Bass Architects on Mixcloud.
Joel currently lives in NY and Portland, Oregon.
