Grew up in California during the 70's and 80's. Fantastic exposure to music scene there and in Los Angeles. Every band came through LA. Beach, skateboards, surfing, great weather, great parties and the great music that went with it. The beginnings of FM radio in the early 70's, my first transistor radio had KISS artwork wrapped around it. First song was heard was "After Noon Delight". Used to listen to Wolfman Jack on the AM radio at night in San Diego, coming out of Tijuana, Mexico, because that was the biggest tower around, and it was unregulated by the FCC. Grateful Dead, Neil Young, Roger Waters, David Gilmour, The Call, RUSH, Police, Thompson Twins, Blondie, U2, Ziggy Marley, Peter Gabriel, Dire Straits, The Young Dubliners (as a bar band), so many great live shows I was able to see. Now everything is a click away on line. Crazy.
