DJ Jimmy Deluxe (Jim Clermonts) started mixing from the age of 14 and by 18 began to organise his own parties.
These parties where entitled "This is Juicy". (youtube.com/watch?v=JNiH0jxp8uE) and became big successes. They lifted on the success of the jump & dirty house hype that peaked in 2007 & 2008.
Jim played in various clubs in the Netherlands, Belgium and even in the USA alongside DJ's like Afrojack, Quintino & Hardwell:
- DIS, Maastricht Music Hall (NL),
- ClubNights, Lazurra (BE)
- Talent Mondays, The Cellar (USA) to name a few.
What really separated him from the masses is that he took a laptop DJ-ing approach from the start of his career. This made his DJ sets more creative, and way more packed with different tracks. In 2008 he released his first track, titled "Kiss the sun".
