London, United Kingdom
You could say things have happened in reverse for Jen. Shes been carving her path as a presenter since 2015 after six years in the teaching profession. She's taught in state schools across the UK, and started a drama department in one of the largest prep schools in London, but she feels she has been gradually moving towards turning her passions into a career.
A lover of theatre and dance, Jen started blogging about hip-hop dance, and urban theatre. She has reviewed events such as Breakin' Convention, ZooNation's Into The Hoods, Utopia at Roundhouse, and Bend it like Beckham.
She has also interviewed dancers for her blog, with an interest in raising their profile, and the art form itself.
Born in a music-loving household, where her Dad played everything from Stevie Wonder to Steeley Dan, and her brother would bring home garage and hip-hop mixtapes, music has always been a big part of Jen's life, so it was a natural progression for her to move into radio.
