HighLive is a dynamic, complementary musical duo consisting of Muzafer Dzelili (aka Mugi) and Jean-Paul Wyssen (aka JP) which somehow met by accident. It all started in the mid 90’s. “Mugi” started his musical interest and activities on Hip-Hop, Black R&B oriented music before switching, at the beginning of last decade, to a more club and dance oriented sound. He recalls his influences at that time being nights at Zurich venues such as Club Q and Rohstofflager and the sound Deep Dish, Sasha, John Digweed and Satoshi Tomiie, just to name a few. Captured by the feel and energy he soon made his first steps DJing at private venues. “JP” musical interest first grew at the beginning of 2000 with Big Beat, Ambient and Acid Jazz being his first love. Thru a mutual friend “JP” got hand on a CD *James Zambiela – Renaissance* out of “Mugi’s” collection in early 2004. “JP” got instantly infected by the electronic sound and virus of passion and soon after the two youngsters met for the first time.
