In the late 90's J Boogz ventured into the world of the Disc Jockey.

Befriending a local roller skating rink owner, and spending hours practicing after closing time, J Boogz would learn from his mentor the art of beat-matching and blending records, seamlessly. J Boogz bought his first pair of turntables in 1998 and went on to work as a resident DJ for 3 years at the rink before he would move on to the nightclub scene.

For the next 7 years, J Boogz would hold residencies in some of the most popular venues in Boston, and the greater Boston area. For years, Boogz headlined holiday weekends at nightclubs in Las Vegas. Turning to the FM dial, J Boogz would hone his radio DJ skills, and provide guest spot DJ mixes to some of the top stations in Boston and the greater Boston areas.

J Boogz has taken his turntable prowess to large private events, destination events and weddings. Formal events will never again be the same!
