My father, Hambone, was a DJ in Newark, NJ, and I grew up watching him work a reel to reel through the 60s-80s. He brought home a pair of Technics SL D1s, direct drive decks at a time when most turntables were belt driven and hard to beat match. He rarely gigged with them, but at 14 I was glued, teaching myself to mix. By 16 or 17 I played my first party and never looked back. I kept those turntables until 2017, giving them away after my father passed.

Since then I've played countless parties and events. During Covid I was part of Space City Radio, a live Mixcloud show that's still running, though I no longer have time to contribute.

DJing found its way into my day job too. I record short sets with background imagery in OBS that open and close AT&T's CTO townhalls.

These days I mix mostly at my desk, uploading here, still chasing what I found on my father's turntables.
