Born and raised in Belfast, Northern Ireland Jay Moreland (better known as SOSA XII & Jamore Landson) got his first introduction to music in the 90’s by playing to his friends in house parties. This new orientation got him involved in DJing and organizing parties in his hometown.
In order to play his own music during DJ sets, he spent hours off every day & night making his own bootlegs, vocals & productions on the simplest off equipment which he then burnt onto CD'S to use in his highly energetic sets. It’s through these method's jay developed and refined his Dj’ing and Studio technique.
You can hear Jay’s musical evolution in his work, his past history with previous use of drum machine's and organic recordings is what gives his sets such an original flavour.
He’s no stranger to success in in the studio either, having released on a string of high profile labels including Celestial, Malatoid, Subtone & Tall House Underground and his own label Universal Ear.
