I started going to clubs in 1992-93. Back then it was underground, there was no radio play, no commercials and definitely no corporate sponsorships. The first club I went to was in Cocoa Beach called Marz, it was a hollowed out old movie theater with all the seats removed to reveal a tilted dance floor. I soon after discovered there was another place in Orlando called Aahz, and after I found Aahz there was no turning back. I would make my way there each Saturday night, we would bounce back and forth from the Abyss just down the street back to Aahz, most times until the Sunday streets were filled with Church goers the following morning. At the time it was the center for Dance music in the country, some of the best known Dj's of the time and now used to play there. John D and Sasha, Cosmic Baby, Kimball Collins, Chris Fortier were there what seemed to be every Saturday. It was the beginning of my love for dance music and its been a life long obsession.
