love music from childhood,n been skooled my the best...when about age 11,was brought to the bboy scene..with it breaks n beats...began to develop flavours n collections...was given box set of essential electros for christmas 1983...my mum had sent away to new york to purchase a rare box of only 5000....all mixed n put together..this began my sure passion n taste for soul/funk/hiphop etc....i followed the dance n soul music from pirate radios with a friend n tuned into all manchester radios etcn was into house way before it was even heard of in my own town...also went to all the early acid house parties..this became stale n commercial very quickly.however due to true breakbeat lovers who had heard the early hiphop n watched the house scene,the breakbeat reamerged years later in the fast new paced form of jungle,a british spin on the breakbeats spun house style...so british hiphop sampled with great house basslines ,snares n drums n bass,with a soulful n reggea n ragga background vibe. t
