Bought my first Technics 1210 in 1994 for £450 and a Vestax mixer, then took me 6 months to afford the 2nd one. Bedroom DJ to start, then started playing local parties & bars in Colchester. Heavily influnced by local heros The Prodigy (R.I.P Flinty) & the rave scene plus trips to Ibiza & the “Baleric music scene ”, going to London Clubs: The End, Fabric, Turnmills, Notting Hill Carnival. DJ Influences include: Jose Padilla, Norman Jay, Gilles Peterson, Mr Scruff, John Digweed, Bushwacka, James Lavelle ,Tom ‘Jedi’ Middleton, Jazzie B, George Evelyn (NOWax), LTJ Bukem, Fabio & Grooverider.
Residencies at "The Snug Bar" & for the past 3 years a regular DJ at The John Peel centre at "The Vinyl Lounge" as well as DJ'ing at the Double Decker Disco.
In 2019 i set up “Good Vibes Soundsystem” with good friend Simon Adams for private hire and commercial bookings. Our sound is baleric chill-out, reggae, funk, soul, hip-hop, disco, house & old skool, 80’s & 90’s, anything eclectic!
