Originally born in the UK but now residing in Western Australia, DeeJay Jeff Alston (Jeff-Red) discovered his passion for the DJing in the genesis period that introduced such legends as Carl Cox and Paul Oakenfold. In 1983, a pair of Technics 1200's where left in his bedroom by his older brother, and as soon as he placed his first vinyl on the platter, he was forever captivated by the art form.

Jeff-Red, like so many early DJ's, started as a Hip Hop DJ. After establishing his skills in mixing, he was then introduced to turntablism and on several occasions was involved in the DMC world championship. This experience helped to cement his exceptionally high level of understanding and control on the decks.
Evolving from Hip Hop, through to early Drum n Bass, late 90s House music then became his natural progression in music selection.
