To me, music has always been about storytelling and community building.

I am very inspired by the deep musical roots in Detroit. Through my work I hope to help others connect to the true history of Techno and all of its offshoots; Detroit Techno is resistance and resiliency in the face of oppressive forces, whether that be racism, de-industrialization, or gentrification. Detroit Techno represents the spirit and tenacity of a community I hold dear. While I try to maintain a relatively eclectic style, my intention is to always keep my work grounded in the history and spirit of Detroit.

Detroit Techno has brought people from all walks of life together on the dancefloor for decades, and I hope to contribute even a small part to that legacy of using music to build and strengthen community bonds.
