Irving Villegas was born in Mexico City in 1982. Since 2005 he has worked with different international and national newsphoto agencies and newspapers in Mexico, Spain and Germany. Since 2007 until now Irving is a freelance photographer with his base in Germany. At all times he is principaly interested in documenting the different variations of daily life he is looking at everywhere to find exciting new stories to tell. Irving has some recognitions for example as finalist in best cover of the year 2010 in "PHOTOPRESSE" magazin in Germany or an honor citation in the International "Leica Barnack Bienalle" in Nylown Germany amoung others.
