Jim Felix (Ion Georgescu), VLDMR (Vladimir Gh) and Saucy Jeez (Biby Om) found themselves mixing in various Bucharest underground joints like Cool Cat, Base, Baraka, Carol 53, Groove On, Tete a Tete, Control, Ponton, etc.
The Electromicina concept – friendship, their temporary residence on Dr. Felix street and a life-long affair with underground music were the key ingredients leading to “till dawn” parties which brought smiles and a strong feeling of togetherness for everyone attending.
After the 4th Electromicina edition, they decided to stick to a name that reflects their ever-evolving mixing skills and musical preferences as well as their personalities– and not just the electro style. Swinging from cosmic-disco and UK garage sounds to surreal deep house vibes, Electromicina group turned (un)naturally into Inyourface.
