Igor Gonya was born in 1986 in the village of Troitskoye, which is a dozen kilometers from Elista, the capital of the Republic of Kalmykia. From a very early age he developed a passion for British electronic music culture, in particular, the work of such groups as The Prodigy, The Chemical Brothers, Massive Attack, and Fatboy Slim.
