Active on the reggae scene in Lille, France, since 1999, I Bingi Sound aim to promote and disseminate the sound-system culture, born in Jamaica but now present throughout the world. These two activists play their selections on a sound-system as they feel it's the best way to let this music express all its facets, from massive Roots to the most eneregetic Dubs. They also experiment with live instruments such as percussion and melodica.
Through their conscious and militant reggae, I Bingi Sound speak out for unity and peace. They have recently started creating their own music, mixing deep bass, catchy melodies and conscious lyrics.
