Born and raised in Munich, Germany, Ian Pi got into electronic music in the early 90ies. In the first few years he followed radio shows broadcasting Techno and Trance music from raves at the former Airport Munich Riem and was fed with tapes by a nice guy in his neighbourhood with DJ sets from Pascal F.E.O.S., Carl Cox and others.
In 1996 he explored the underground scene around Düsseldorf and Cologne, bought his first DJ equipment and started collecting Deep House, Tech House and Techno records, mainly released by German and Scandinavian labels like Poker Flat, Kanzleramt or Svek.
Between 1998 and 2014 Ian was part of the Ghettofusion Open Air Festival, Clausthal and played at various House and Techno parties in the Ruhr Area.
2014 was the big move to the USA and Shreveport, Louisiana became his new home base where he plays an active role in the local music scene.
