As the Resident DJ at The Big Easy Night Club, influenced the early careers of Partners-N-Crime, Pimp Daddy, Mystikal, Sporty-T, DJ Jubilee, Cheeky Blackk, UNLV, PMW and a number of others. DJ Ron was one of the “go to” club DJs for Cash Money Records, No Limit Records and numerous others in the early days of the labels. Using the Big Easy Night Club as the venue, DJRon also hosted shows with national recording artists like Luke “Uncle Luke” Campbell.

In Baton Rouge, DJRon helped introduce New Orleans music to Baton Rouge. As Resident DJ in Club Dreams, DJRon hosted shows with New Orleans artists like Mystikal, DJ Jubilee, Partners-N-Crime, UNLV, and national artists Master P, UGK, Goodie Mob, and numerous others. He is the first to play New Orleans Bounce music in Baton Rouge area clubs
