Bristol, United Kingdom
Hywel's career started as a teen in the 00s. Discovering the UK's underground free party scene he immersed himself in the sound system culture and soon began collecting jungle and early dubstep records.
Moving to Bristol at the start of the decade, Hywel's skill transitioned to the club. He went on to become a member of Apex Collective where he held a residency at one of the UK's top nightclubs Motion. The group gained recognition on an international basis supporting the likes of Groove Armada, Pete Tong and Submotion Orchestra at venues and festivals across Europe.
In 2016 Apex split and Hywel founded his own club night Eminent. At the forefront of the electronic music scene Eminent continues to push innovative dance music drawing influences from the 4x4 and broken beat scenes of NYC, Chicago, Detroit, Berlin, The Hague and Bristol; a theme that resounds with Hywel's production and DJ sets.
