PERSONAL MISSION:
Just trying to present a wide spectrum of soulful vibes within a context that suggests WITHOUT BOUNDARIES. Trying to avoid musical prejudices & cliched styles most DJs naturally absorb and manifest behind the decks, based mainly on influences one digests on their journey as a hobbyist/aspiring & sometimes even professional DJ. Myself included, for years... decades...
These dayz, as long as the music is dope to my ears and got that certain groove to move folks, I will play it. Genre notwithstanding.
MY ROOTS: NYC/NJ's ORIGINAL Underground DANCE music SCENE from the early-1970's to current times (2024 as of this writing). From Brooklyn's 70-80's house parties, block parties, and park jams to clubs such as The Ozone Layer, The Loft, Paradise Garage, Zanzibar (NJ), Snob Busters, Danceteria, Lovelite, Area, The Choice, Club Shelter, Body & Soul, etc.
