HotwaxHarley is a veteran American DJ, producer, and electronic music pioneer based in the RDU area of NC. He has been active in the scene since 1981, relocating to Durham, NC in 1989, taking up a residency at Power Company, where he played a key role in introducing house music. He co-produced the Drama After Midnight EP on Detroit's Wallshaker Records, collaborating with Maurice Fulton on the track Soundz Weird.

In 1996, his Dj skills were reviewed in URB Magazine. In 1998-2002, he held the Insomnia residency at Gotham in Chapel Hill, NC. During that time in 1999 with Mark Kane, he launched Radiance, an influential Wednesday night weekly running for over 104 events, it showcased a wide range of Djs and international guests.

He remains active releasing promotional mixes on the HotwaxHarley Podcast on Apple, Podomatic, SoundCloud and Mixcloud. He's celebrated as one of N.C.'s most diverse and talented DJs, with a legacy spanning over four decades in the electronic dance music scene.
