DJ Krat started out in 1990 with serious DJing, learing the tricks of the trade from Marc Kneppers and Wim Plug of later Kraak & Smaak fame. Being quite the lover of hard beats Krat dabbled in early hardcore, Drum&Bass, EBM, Industrial, and alternative music. Nowadays he is a resident of the Cyberia parties in Tivoli, Utrecht, Freitag, LVC, leiden and the Summer Darkness festival, and several other parties.
He is also the man behind the rhythmnic noise act "The Peoples Republic of Europe" and writes reviews for Brutal Resonance webzine.
