Deeply rooted in warehouse rave parties and underground clubs while living in the States during the late 90s, Heru began collecting records and picked up DJ-ing skills.
Going back to his hometown Jakarta, he joined the Future10 crew to continue spreading the message throughout the archipelago.
On the decks he has created an eclectic sound of his own with assured, kinetic combination of disco, house to leftfield techno, but still deeply influenced by acid house.
His ability to respond and communicate with the diverse appeals of the crowd is a testament to his refreshing eclectic sensibility and showmanship.
He is one third of the award-winning monthly ritual gathering Sunset People Project, and also cofounded Slits, a micro bar slash podcast radio which serves as a platform for homegrown talents.
