Born into a family of engineers, and musicians, Hector Fierro, always had a keen passion for technology, and music. His affinity with music led to him learning to play the trumpet, and drums at a young age. Which quickly transformed into an ardent interest for electronic music. His primordial belief, is selecting and creating electronic music, should be just as improvised as a jazz is. Influenced principally by the styles of, Carl Craig, Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, Laurent Garnier, and Danny Tenaglia. At 18, he and his friend, AdrianP, began organizing underground parties at different warehouses under the name Aphfunk, in the city of El Paso, Texas, and its border city, Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.

Through out his years, he has had the pleasure, to warm up the dance floor for artists such as, Laura Jones, Lee Curtiss, RadioSlave, Guy Gerber, DJ W!LD, Nick Curly, Phonique, &ME, No Regular Play, Benoit & Sergio, Fritz Kalkbrenner, and Audiofly to name a few.
