Ultimately, he’s taken the ruthlessly intricate detail of turntablism, and applied it on the macro level with his pulsing, anthemic EDM crowd-pleasers.
DJHEX’s unique and versatile style has won him not only legions of fans, but also countless accolades. He won RAW Artist’s 2012 Denver Musician of the year (beating out 89 other musicians), and has retained the title of Denver’s RAW Artist Resident DJ for 3 years and running. He participated in the 2013 DMC battle, won 1st place in Church Nightclub’s EDM DJ battle, 1st place in the Preliminary Redbull Battle, and 2nd place in the ensuing 30-person Championship.
