HartzKi is the production moniker of Hull based DJ; Simon Hart. A fully adopted Northerner, he moved to Hull in the late 90's where he fell in love with the thriving music scene in the city.

A regular at nights such as The Onion Club, Simon's love of house, funk and acid jazz, evolved into a love of techno where he some became involved with the legendary Mantra, playing at the now infamous Hutt St parties, and spending far too much time at Orbit. An ever-present at Room, Simon championed the Big Beat sound in Hull forming Beatamax, hosting some of the city's most sought after back-room spots.

His tastes are anything with punchy rhythm, solid grooves... music you should feel to the bones, that gets the heart pumping, the hairs standing and the hips moving.

Been there, seen it, done it, got the t-shirt, sent it back, ordered a larger one - sharing flyer space with Sonique, Lee Coombs, Rob Tissera, Farley Jackmaster Funk, Anne Savage, & Danny Howells to name a few.....
