South African born, Hanco Kamper originated from a colorful theater community, where he discovered a passion for language and narrative. Confronted with many social inequities and corrupt governmental systems, Hanco manifested a very critical perspective on social & psychological topics. Fascinated by sound, language, performance-art and design he savours an extensive armory of techniques to convey the message that needs to be told. From sinister sound design and coded language to community projects and general education. His ambitions are to push the envelope in design and narrative by researching and experimenting in the overlapping fields of design, theory and interactive media.
