DJ.Optique was one of the very few worldmusic djs of Hungary, the former resident dj. of "Globe Trekker", the nr.1 world music party serie of Budapest. First he made numerous compilation-cassettes to his friends since he was 14, and started his dj career in 1996 (when he was 20) as a techno dj. Later he played a very wide spectrum of music in lots and lots parties, clubs and cafes in Hungary: atmospheric drum&bass, downtempo, nu jazz, easy listening, jazz, 70s disco, new wave, rockabilly, EBM. He was resident dj in popular open-air clubs of Budapest. Made mixes for amateur films and exhibitions. In the last 15 years he played in clubs and festivals world music (arabic, balkan, gypsy, klezmer, rai, reggae, latin ska, salsa, cumbia, flamenco, bhangra, hungarofolk, afro...), in a very unique style, mixes authentic and fusioned tracks. Now he finished his dj career.
