Gurgus Humanmachine, is an artist from Rennes, who has been immersed in music since his youngest age, but it was in 1997 that he discovered techno and house during the first Astropolis festival at the Château de Keriolet. He is oriented towards the live and is initiated to djing.
He cultivates the discovery of this style which emerges at the time by attending both festivals and free parties, he cultivates his electro culture there, ranging from club house to more radical techno.
Wishing to participate in the development of this movement, he also contributes to the organization of parties in Brittany and more particularly in the Rennes (Artcom, Solstices and Equinoxes).
His music draws influences from both the 80s synthesizers of New Order or Vangelis, the house groove of Carl Cox or Frankie Knuckles and the hypnotic techno beats of Jeff Mills or Richie Hawtin that inspire him.
