Candelaria combines the infectious rhythms of traditional Colombian cumbia with the dub reggae techniques of the Jamaican studio masters. This 6 piece, female fronted world dance band brings together musicians from Mexico, Canada, Colombia, Puerto Rico, and the United States. Their irresistible combination of the traditional with the modern has moved crowds all over California. With the release of their self titled debut EP, Candelaria pushes the boundaries of Cumbia, Puya, and other world dance grooves.
