The Groove Kid (AKA James Murgatroyd) is an Edmonton (Canada) DJ and former host of the Soul Train to Jazzland on CJSR 88.5 FM from 1996-1999 alongside DJ Battery. James was also the Sunday night resident DJ at the Black Dog on Whyte from 1998-2001.
James has also played various other venues in and around Edmonton.
