Hungarian DJ and producer Greg Katona’s career has taken him across Europe and Asia and landed him a spot as one of the most sought after DJs in Beijing. His interest in electronic music began at an early age and was influenced by the sounds of Pink Floyd and Depeche Mode. He began his journey as a DJ in Budapest under the guidance of respected techno DJ Gabor Kraft and has since developed a heavy-hitting style of his own. Soon after he moved to Beijing in 2013 he had his first residency at one of the most popular nightclubs of the time, Spark. Since then, Katona has held residencies at Beijing’s biggest clubs including Modo and the still infamous Elements.Katona’s huge sound and talent on the decks hasn’t been limited to clubs – he has performed at numerous music festivals including a six-city tour with China’s popular Strawberry Music Festival. His 2016 tour of South Korea included a stop at the Spectrum Music Festival and back in Hungary he performed alongside Martin Solveig, Marti
