In June 2011 Alisha Lawler was approached to arrange an event in Basement20, which is based in Hardman St Liverpool.
Alisha who has been following the techno scene since 1999,
started DJing in 2001 run her own record store called “Reality Records” in 2005 and has recently stepped back into the techno world in full force the past 12 months playing at Aum Birmingham & Detached Leeds took the opportunity with open arms.
With her current design skills as Graphic Designer and Marketing Coordinator (and Social Media Networking guru) she created the brand name Gora Gora. The name translated means “making” which stood out as it crosses over all forms of content in the music industry.
