Lektron (Gert-Jan van Campen) started as a DJ in 2000. He worked with 2 portable diskmans. Time past by and the more he practiced, the more work he got. Unlike many of his more 'serious' colleagues, Lektron likes to bring some humour and extra energy into his dj sets.

Lektron has also another project “Deafman", which started in 2006, making electro songs and various remixes in a 80/90/00s crossover electro style. Deafman performs live with analogue synhts and samples.

In 2005 he received an offer for a night in a local bar called Tipiek in the town of Beveren. The first night was immediately a big succes and from then on he is one of the resident DJ's. Lektron received offers from local youth clubs (JH 't Eiland -Kieldrecht-, JH Djem -Mesele-, 't Ogenblik -Beveren-, etc.). Since then he received more work and he received the status of being Resident DJ for the most trendy clothing stores in Antwerp ( Fish&Chips, Man @ Work , Clinic, Etc.)
