Gerra is the alias of 22 year old drum and bass DJ and producer Harry Hackett. He currently has Southampton tuned into every vinyl he spins absolutely smashing every booking while warming up for some of the world’s top DJs. With residencies at the top nights in Southampton (Raygun Youth, Wax, Release), bookings starting to come from far and wide and production projects in the pipe line, 2010 is looking promising for this rising star.
Gerra’s reputation is spreading quickly and last year racked up a number of high profile bookings across the region including Hospitality, Glade Festival, BeachBreak Live, Global Energy Weekender and One Nation. He got national recognition when he came runner up in last year’s nationwide Valve DJ Competition. This talented 22 year old spends his time locked in his home studio tweaking mixes. This perfectionist has kept his cards close to his chest but when he does give people a sneak of his production, public anticipation grows for his first release.
