Musical influences growing up were Top of The Pops on BBC and always loved Mowtown. Still remember buying Papa was a rolling stone by the Temptations. Then everything changed when I went to see Saturday Night Fever at the tender age of 17. Things were never the same again. Did lots of clubbing in the Soul/JazzFunk/Disco days and started DJing, back in the days when all the records were back announced. Dropped out of the scene for a while in the 80s while bringing up a family. Then discovered house music and the joy of mixing repetitive beats. Did a lot of proper clubbing at places like Ministry of Sound, Chunnel Club and later Fabric. Promoted a night called Phwaagh! at Dorringtons. Then decided to build my own night club in my back garden, called the Miniscule of Sound. Had some great parties and was always on my Technics 1210s.
