funk me radio

Funk Me Radio lives in the sounds of the 1970s: jazz, soul, funk, R&B, reggae, gospel, and everything in between. Created and hosted by Lauren Kelly Devincenti, each episode moves between deep cuts, overlooked artists, and familiar records, with the stories behind them woven in along the way. Expect music history, strange connections, samples you might recognize, artists you might not, and plenty of reasons to go down a rabbit hole of your own. The point is to give context to the music without losing the feeling of simply putting on a great record. Funk Me Radio started on WMUC 90.5 FM in College Park, Maryland, with over 100 weekly broadcasts. Now based in Paris, Lauren is back on air and digging again.
